Are you sitting comfortably?...then I'll begin
My name is Pete (Lead Singer) and although not around for all the bands history I have been chosen to create and edit our website, I like to think that this is because I am the most articulate and definitely the best looking member of the band. Truth of the matter is I am the only one with access to the internet!!........oh and Colin still thinks a PC is one of those extinct people that used to walk the beat and give him a good clip round the ear when he was a spotty faced kid.
The line-up is as follows
Pete - Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
Tony - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Col - Bass Guitar
Martin - Drums
It all started a few years ago, I'm not sure how many, 2 dodgy blokes from Oldham realised they both shared a passion for performing live in front of people......, anyway after councilling they were released back into the community and realised it was music they were meant to perform!!! These 2 guys were Col (Bass) and Tony( Lead Guitar), the founder members of a band who would eventually be known as "Mispeltyooth".
There have been a few personell changes along the rollercoaster rocky rock n roll road (try saying that when you've had 6 pints of holsten!) and in the early days, due to this ever changing line up, nobody ever knew enough songs to take the band into the public eye of Oldham, but eventually the boys agreed to perform the 6 songs they all knew at a local Oldham pub, I can't remember it's name or the rest of the story yet but I definitely know they didn't do 6 songs and it isn't renowned in the annals of rock history as the greatest gig ever.
