Band News

Well the BAD news is that our young drummer George has had to quit the band to pursue his University course in that well known university town of Blackpool, some sort of engine tuning and performance thing he says, well I hope when he is working for ferrari or mclaren F1 team he remembers his old mates and gives us some freebie tickets to the GB Grand Prix. George will be with us until mid September so we are on the lookout for a new drummer ASAP.

The good news is that Martin stuart who until recently drummed with The Cougars helped out with 2 gigs when George was on holiday, he enjoyed it so much that he said he fancied staying with the band, well we like the way he hits them skins so our search for a new drummer is over, nice one Martin.

 One last thing

All 3 of us would like to thank George for his excellent input to the band and we will sorely miss his Keith Moonesque style of attacking those skins, Cheers Georgie boy!!!

Latest/Upcoming Gigs

16th Feb 2009

I know it's been a long time sinc I last posted but...shit happens and I admit to being a lazy mofo, anyway just a quick post: We have got numerous gigs lined up throughout the year (Check Gig Schedule on Home Page) and we have just added 4 new tunes to the set list Yellow, Money for nothin, Sex on Fire and The Best of You. We are also just starting work on the next 4 songs that we hope to have by the end of the Month:- Cigarettes & Alcohol, She Bangs the Drum, Comfortably Numb and Squeezebox. We hope the new songs have something for everyone, but as you know, "You can't please all the people all the time".

I will write some more soon I promise!!!

2008 News

Well we've played a few good gigs in the last couple of weeks, we had a particularly rocking night on our first visit to a new venue for us, The Spread Eagle in Kearsley. The appreciative locals made us really welcome and a good night was had by all. We have said that we intend to get the Foo Fighters tune "The best of You" on board for our next visit to the Spread in November. We have another new venue that we will be playing on the 30th of November the brilliantly refurbished Oddies club in Royton, it's a Sunday night but early kick off at 20:00 so you can have a few beers and still be home at a reasonable time, come along and see the place it's really smart setup.

We are also pleased to announce another new venue and one of Oldhams top "Live" venues, we have secured a gig on Sat 13th dec at The Grotton, if you're planning a Christmas "Do" that night get up there and grab some live music.
